Matching your online presence to the quality of your services
Most organisations have a clear vision of the value they provide. However, there is often a gap between how you see your business and how your customers view it.
Websites That Work for Your Users:
If you are looking for a new website, you know there are countless developers who can build one. So, what makes OMNIsector different? We don’t just focus on the technical build; we focus on the entire user journey and its impact on your operations.
Design Rooted in the Customer Journey
We believe your website is your “digital front door.” It is often the first point of contact for a client, service user, or patient, and that first impression dictates their level of trust in your organisation.
Our approach goes beyond simple aesthetics. We recognise that a website’s true purpose is to provide clear information, build credibility, and facilitate a seamless interaction.
How We Deliver Results:
- User-Centric Design: We begin by understanding the users’ practical needs. What information are they seeking? What barriers might prevent them from taking action? We design to remove those obstacles.
- Journey Mapping: We map out the logical path from “first click” to “service delivery.” This ensures the navigation is intuitive and reassuring, particularly for users who may be visiting your site during a time of need.
- Strategic Continuity: Because we understand business change, we don’t just launch a site and walk away. We ensure your digital presence is built to evolve alongside your organisational goals.
A Partnership of Design and Management
When you work with OMNIsector, you get a unique blend of skills. Andy leads the initial design and user journey architecture, ensuring a professional, high-performing build. Julie then provides the essential ongoing management and communication support—ensuring your website and social media remain accurate and engaging for the long term.
The result is more than just a website; it’s a professional, reassuring experience that encourages your customers or patients to take the next step with confidence.

Community and Charity websites

More than a website—a logical path to community safety.
My Safer Dorset is a comprehensive information and signposting platform designed for residents and community groups across East, North, and West Dorset, the Purbecks, and Weymouth & Portland.
The primary challenge was the complexity of the landscape; when a resident faces issues such as antisocial behaviour, scams, or crime, knowing where to turn can be overwhelming. We designed this site to serve as a streamlined “hub” that guides the user to the right solution.
- Logical Signposting: Instead of a simple list of links, the site provides a guided journey. It directs users to the most appropriate agency and ensures they have the specific information needed to report an issue or seek help effectively.
- Operational Efficiency: By helping users reach the correct department the first time, the site reduces the administrative burden on public agencies and ensures resources are used where they are most needed.
- A “Bottom-Up” Approach: In line with our core philosophy, the platform is community-led. It was created and is managed by local people to ensure the content reflects the actual issues and priorities of the residents it serves.

Bridging the gap between medical care and community support.
Community SWITCH acts as a vital signposting and self-help digital gateway for residents across East Dorset and the Crane Valley Primary Care Network (PCN).
The goal of the site is to connect individuals with local community services that complement their traditional medical care. It provides clear, accessible guidance for anyone seeking support for their health and well-being, particularly those navigating complex challenges like long-term health conditions, grief, anxiety, or isolation.
- Empowering Patient Journeys: The site is designed to remove barriers to access, allowing individuals to easily find the right non-medical support and take a more active, confident role in managing their own health.
- Built on Trust: To ensure high quality and credibility, the local organisations and community groups featured on the platform are peer-reviewed by patients themselves, providing peace of mind for new users.
- A Practical Tool for Primary Care: Beyond patient self-help, the platform serves as an essential operational resource for GPs and Social Prescribing Link Workers, enabling them to quickly and safely connect patients with the appropriate community networks.

An accessible gateway to independence and community connection.
sedcat (South East Dorset Community Accessible Transport) is a dedicated charity providing essential transport services across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, and East Dorset.
The website serves as a vital resource for individuals who find standard public transport challenging due to age, health, disability, or social exclusion. We designed the site to be a clear, high-contrast, and easy-to-navigate portal that connects users with the specific transport solution they need.
- Streamlined Service Selection: The site provides a logical path to sedcat’s core offerings, including the BAT Bus and the Community Car scheme. By clearly categorising these, users and their families can quickly identify the service that best fits their requirements.
- Facilitating Community Support: The platform isn’t just for passengers; it also acts as a recruitment and information hub for the volunteer drivers who power the Community Car scheme, ensuring a steady supply of support for essential medical appointments and social outings.
- Prioritising Accessibility: Given the user base, the digital design prioritises readability and ease of use. This ensures that the mission of promoting independence and reducing isolation begins the moment a user arrives at the website.

Connecting rural and urban communities through accessible travel.
NDCT provides vital transportation services across the northeast of North Somerset, including Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead, and the surrounding villages.
The website serves as the primary information hub for residents who cannot easily access standard public transport. We structured the site to clearly present transport options, ensuring that users with mobility issues or those living in more isolated areas can find the support they need without technical frustration.
- Door-to-Door Accessibility: The site highlights the Dial-a-Ride service, providing a clear path for users to book transport for medical appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.
- Localised Navigation: By clearly categorising services by area—covering Nailsea, Clevedon, and Portishead—we ensured that users can immediately identify the transport available in their specific village or town.
- Promoting Social Inclusion: The digital presence is designed to be more than a booking tool; it is a gateway to community participation. By streamlining the information process, the site actively supports NDCT’s mission to reduce isolation and help residents maintain their independence.

Connecting Community, Amplifying Impact
Verwood Rotary Club, a branch of Rotary International, is a cornerstone of community service in Verwood and the surrounding areas. The club brings together a diverse membership dedicated to supporting local and international causes through fundraising and hands-on volunteering.
The website serves as the primary communication channel for the club’s large-scale initiatives. We designed the site to be a high-functioning platform that manages the logistics of community engagement while clearly showcasing the club’s tangible impact.
- Flagship Event Management: The site provides a logical and streamlined information path for major fundraising events, such as the Rustic Fayre. By making event details, tickets, and schedules easy to find, the platform helps maximise attendance and the subsequent funds raised for local charities.
- Recruitment and Growth: We created a professional “digital front door” for potential new members. The site clearly outlines the benefits of joining Rotary, providing a straightforward way for community-minded individuals to offer their skills and time.
- Centralised Community Resource: Beyond fundraising, the site acts as a directory of the club’s various service projects. Whether supporting vulnerable individuals or assisting at local events, the website ensures the club’s activities are visible, transparent, and accessible to those who need support.
Websites for local businesses

AMPM Glazing helps its customers by providing a full range of products and services, from installations to repairs and maintenance, all without high-pressure sales tactics. Simply Relax is a holistic therapy business based in Verwood, East Dorset. Run by Daisy, a qualified holistic therapist and Reiki master, her practice provides specialised treatments designed to reduce tension and restore balance.
For a business built entirely on creating a calm, restorative environment, the website needed to reflect that atmosphere while serving as an effortless way for clients to discover services and schedule appointments. We designed the site to be a seamless, uncluttered digital gateway to her therapies.

Jo Barry is a highly acclaimed artist and member of the Royal Academy, renowned for her intricate etchings inspired by the nature and countryside surrounding her studio in the UK’s famed New Forest.
For an established artist, a website must act as a seamless extension of their physical studio. Jo required a professional online presence that would beautifully present her portfolio while effectively directing collectors to the galleries and agents where her work is sold. We designed a site that balances aesthetic elegance with clear, functional navigation.
The website design allows the intricate details of Jo’s etchings to take centre stage, replicating the calm, focused experience of viewing art in a physical gallery.
Rather than functioning as an e-commerce store, the site acts as an intelligent digital hub. It clearly and intuitively directs interested buyers to her official agents and partner galleries.
GP Practice Websites
Transforming your website into a functional asset for Modern General Practice.
A surgery’s website is no longer just a digital noticeboard; it is a critical operational tool. If patients cannot easily find what they need online, they will call the surgery reception team.
We design, build, and actively manage user-friendly websites that make it logical and easy for patients to book appointments, order prescriptions, and find self-help resources.
